Unacceptable Harm: 40 Years of Cluster Munitions - Slide show
From Lao PDR in the 1960 and 1970s to Lebanon in 2006, the use of cluster bombs has caused ongoing suffering and hardship to civilian populations. In February 2007 in Oslo, 46 countries agreed to conclude a new treaty prohibiting the weapons. These photographs illustrate the effect that cluster bombs have had on the people whose lives have been shattered by them. This is a 20-frame slide show that can be run manually and automatically, ideal for displays and information booths. Presentation and photographs courtesy of Alison Locke and Landmine Action:
